Southpaw was a 4 piece melodic rock band, based in Sydney, that evolved into the Southpaw project. The sound of Southpaw is unique and floats between the raw power of Led Zeppelin combined with the vocal beauty of Jeff Buckley.Southpaw created songs with an atmosphere to take people away, even if just for the duration of the song. So if there’s someplace you’d like to be, let Southpaw take you there. Listen to the tracks loud and see what you can hear !!!! ....there is alot more there for the listener. ... Special thanks goes to Penny Cook and Phil Munro , whose tireless efforts helped to get this project off the ground. Without Penny there would have been no Billy on the vocals. ....Sadly Southpaw are no longer in existence and only this body of work remains to stand the test of time that some truly great songs were written by the members of Southpaw ..... however ....there is now more ..... "THE OUTpsiDER" www.outpsider.com has done a remix of Windmill man ... called ..Wind up the Mill ....check this out on the MP3 Australian site .. type in the OUTpsiDER ....a cool track to say the least and one that does justice to the track in a millenium way.
