Suzanna Lubrano’s debut DVD, Live at Off-Corso, features a stunning live performance.  

Live at Off-Corso was originally a TV concert, which has now been televised in numerous countries around the world including Brazil, Portugal and many more. Released on DVD in June 2010 this incredible performance stars a line-up of special guests and dancers including; Dutch saxophonist Candy Dulfer, Dutch idol contestant David Goncalves, Lantuna, the Lamba Zouk Dance team and the Brazilian Zouk Dance team. It is like a fiesta on stage, filled with unstoppable music and dancing.

Suzanna carries a stunning aura and her musical talents extend beyond the norm. She has been compared to some of the greatest pop divas of our world; Celine Dion, Beyonce, Mariah Carey and J-Lo. Her talent has been recognised by many, and has won her awards around the globe.

Originally from Cape Verde, West of Africa, Suzanna moved to The Netherlands at the age of four. Like many superstars, she started singing as a young child, but was quickly recognised and encouraged to start singing professionally at the age of eighteen.

“This is not crossover music, at least not her part. To fully enjoy Suzanna’s gifts, you’re gonna have to be the one to crossover to her. We think you should.” (Ebony Mag, USA)

Suzanna has collaborated with an incredible number of artists and producers over the course of her career including; Lisa ‘Left-Eye’ Lopes (from American trio, TLC), Kevin Richardson (formerly in Backstreet Boys), Ronal Rubinel, Marcus Fernandez and many more. She has also been recognised and awarded for her extraordinary talent. In December 2003, Suzanna won the prestigious Kora All African Music Award for Best West African Female and Best African Female, at an event watched by 600 million TV viewers worldwide. She also won the Best Singer and Best Duo Award at the Cabo Music Awards, and in June 2010, she won the Museke Online African Award for Best African Artist based in the Disapora.

The DVD features 17 songs performed live by Suzanna Lubrano including; Fofo, Razao d’Nha Vida, and Distancia. Some of the other highlights include; Nha Sonho, Silencio, Nunca Mas and Festa Mascarado, all of which ooze with sweetness and joy. The DVD also includes 5 bonus music videos!

“It was difficult to choose which songs to record for this DVD. But I believe I have made a good selection,”, expressed Suzanna.

This DVD still leaves out many of the great songs Suzanna Lubrano composed throughout the years. “Part of what I’ve done in my 15 year career, is on this DVD. The rest will follow on a second DVD”, says the singer.
