Blue Pie Productions     This is a lock of John Lennon's Hair. The Blue Pie shop has acquired a strand of authentic hair from John Lennon. ACTUAL SIZE OF THE OUTER EDGE OF OUTSIDE FRAME IS 1-3/4" X 1-3/8" inches. LARGE PHOTO IS A BLOW UP OF THE SMALL FRAMES. Hair is approximately 1/8th an inch+ in length. "FUNK AND WAGNALL'S DICTIONARY" DESCRIBES A RELIC AS "A REMAINING TRACE" OF A REVERED PERSON AND IN THIS CASE A FAMOUS HISTORICAL PERSON. Both frames together are mounted on a MUCH LARGER FORMAT exhibition sheet than my other hair lots: size:10 X 14" inches. The lock of Lennon's hair was acquired with the help of the manager of the Red Rock Ampitheatre in Denver on August 26, 1964 when the Beatles were there on their historic U.S. Tour. It is accompanied by a copy of a letter of authenticity witnessed by Public Notary: Kimberly B. Blackman and a supporting affadavit relating to the certification of this marvelous lock of John Lennon's hair. Lennon's handwritten 3/4ths of a single page unsigned of the lyrics for "Nowhere Man" sold at Christies Auction House for $450,000.00, nearly a half a million dallars and an unsigned handwrittten note also sold at Christies for $21,500. We have signed a statement that "I have removed this strand from this described lock of hair". A true full size copy of this affidavit is enclosed with this lot and our normal gaurantee for life.
